Personnel searches are huge challenges and even the best of them brings great uncertainty. Organizations are recognizing that finding strategies to build leadership, create a performance culture in your group and provide training to increase the skills of the existing employees is most effective. There's another old saw that fits this situation, too.
Make time and think about the big picture aspects of your work. Whether you're the CEO, board member, volunteer, bookkeeper or other staff positions, the future belongs to the organization that builds a forward-looking team. An ounce of prevention is worth more than a pound of cure. Guess I'm overwhelmed by sage old adages today.
